Comalatech is now a two-time prize winner of Atlassian’s Codegeist app-building competition! Today our app Comala Read Confirmations won an Honorable Mention in the “Built in Forge” category. We'd also like to pass on our congratulations to the other winners, who we know worked hard during the competition.
Comala Read Confirmations lets you assign team members to read Confluence pages, and keep track of who has read them. Users confirm reading with a simple click, and you can request new people to read the document at any time. If the content of the page changes, send out a new request for confirmation from the previous assignees.
The winning app is built on Atlassian’s new Cloud platform, Forge. Learning Forge was made simple thanks to detailed documentation and helpful pre-made example apps. With these resources we were able to get our Codegeist apps started quickly. The platform is a big bet on the future of Cloud applications and will set a standard for Marketplace Partners committed to the future of the Atlassian suite of products.
Special thanks goes to all of our team members who helped bring the app to life, but extra recognition must go to a few people who went above and beyond to bring us this victory:
We’re very pleased to put this honorable mention on the shelf next to our previous win from 2007. That particular prize was for Comala Checklists (now known as Comala Lists), an app still going strong today 13 years later, active in over 700 Confluence instances.
The future for our Forge Comala Read Confirmations app is uncertain at the moment, but we’re excited to share that we have released a sister app built on Atlassian’s Connect framework, which is available right now on the Marketplace. Try it for free now!
