Cloud Automation: How can I grant permissions to default rule Actor

Edited

Hi everyone,

I've migrated a bunch of automation rules from server to cloud. The actor is set to be "Automation for Jira" in all of them. I cannot find this user and add him to proper permission schemes / project roles and therefore the rules don't work.

I'm also thinking of bulk changing the actors but it's a lot of hand work.

Anyone has got any idea what could be the good way here? Thanks a lot.

Hi @Pavol Sočuvka,

That user is represented by "atlassian-addons-project-access". If that project role has the necessary permissions, you should be fine.

Alternatively, you could run rules as another user as well. Have a look at this support article for more information.

Hope this helps!

Thank you Walter, that was it.

Added the project role to relevant permission schemes and it works well now.
