Cannot create repeating plan

Pedro Gago January 29, 2021

Hi,

We have an instance of Jira 8.13 Server and we are using Tempo Planner in version 8.0. We have the following problem:

In previous versions of the addon and in the documentation it is indicated that the tasks should be configured to be repetitive. As indicated on this page https://tempo-io.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/THC/pages/312213528/Planning+for+Your+Team+Using+the+Team+Timeline+-+Tempo+Server . The problem is that the Repeat field does not appear to us and, therefore, we cannot configure it. Can someone tell me why this field does not appear? I have not seen any related settings for that purpose.

Regards,

Hi @Pedro Gago

As mentioned in the documentation you are referring to, the Team Timeline where recurrent plans can be created, is a legacy functionality which is scheduled to be removed but can still be enabled. Recurrent planning can not (yet) be done in the Resource planning view.

To enable the legacy functonalities for Tempo Planner, please go to Tempo, Settings, Legacy Features and enable the "Classic Team Planning" features. This will make the Team Timeline available and you can create recurrent plans there.
