When I cancel an issue in JIRA Service Desk, it still open because RESOLUTION is not set automatically in the workflow, so in queries where I want to see open issues, the canceled issues appear. I don't want Canceled issues show in open issues queries because they're not open.
How can I solve this?

You need to add a post function to the workflow transition to the Canceled status that sets the Resolution. There should be one already on the transition to Done so you can get an idea of what is should look like. But it is pretty straight forward.
This will not update the issues that are already Done. You will need to retroactively update those. You can follow this thread for instructions:
