Can we write a Jenkins declarative script for Zephyr for JIRA Cloud?

Edited

Hi I am doing some experiments in Jenkins + A sample automated execution + Results in Zephyr. I was able to successfully do it like this

Img.jpg

Instead of this if I need to write a Jenkinsfile as a declarative pipeline is it possible? Or can you point me to a document to do that?

Hi @Sreejit Purushothaman ,

Currently pipeline is not supported for zephyr for jira cloud. You can explore the ATOM feature and see if any of the existing functionalities fits your requirement.

I did not see an option in ATOM to trigger the tests from Jenkins or anything related to a CI/CD pipeline. So I am not sure whether this new plugin will help me in any way

I would also like to know whether this ZAPI plugin can be used here. I was thinking if there is any way for us to use the ZAPI to get this achieved? While checking this ZAPI API doc https://getzephyr.docs.apiary.io/#, what I understood is that its a pretty old documentation published 6 years back (https://github.com/zfjdeveloper/zapi-docs)

Hi @Sreejit Purushothaman ,

The apiary you are looking at is for the zapi server. For the cloud version of the plugin apis are listed here . Also the apis are only used to perform the same jons using apis which are available as native functionality in the zephyr UI. ZAPI exposes the apis to be accessed from outside.

There is a coming soon feature for ATOM which you might be interested in.

Enterprise CI/CD Processes (Coming Soon): With this integration method, users would utilize an API call that allows you to easily sync your automation test results directly from your CI/CD server run for every build or selected builds
