Can existing test cases/test sets be run if licence is expired?

Our organisation has been using Jira for a number of years and we are currently evaluating x-ray as a Test Management tool.  The process for formal approval is underway but expected to take a while.  

My question was if the licence expires before we complete the execution, can the test sets that are against the test executions still be run?
