Can JSON tables macro take a URL that is private?

Anil Gunturu January 28, 2021

We have a cloud-hosted confluence. We are trying to use JSON tables macro to display internal tables. Is it possible to specify a URL that is in our private network accessible over VPN?

Hi @Anil Gunturu ,

Good day!

Please note that you cannot use a private URL as we do not support connection via VPN. The two workarounds which we can suggest as of now is:

  • Host the same in some public URL and then try to fetch the data.
  • OR add the data as an attachment in the Confluence cloud instance and then use the attachment.

I hope the information helps.

Thanks,
Ravya
