Can I make the time sheet gadget include any inProgress task?

Tasks only show up after time has been logged on a particular task. Is there a way to make it so if a task is inProgress, it shows up in the timesheet regardless of whether or not time has been logged? That would make it easier for users to create the first work log entry for a task/sub-task.
