Can Google Analytics for Confluence Cloud monitor and track page creations?

Kandace K July 26, 2018

We currently have Google Analytics reporting on our Confluence Cloud space that we are using as a knowledge base. We need to track and monitor page creations by the user. From the screenshots and information it appears that the plugin will track page visits and views.

If we install the plugin, are we able to also see the page creation tracking?

Thanks!

You can user Google Analytics to see when new pages are reported by Google for the first time as a way to see when they are created.  I don't think this is the best way and would be very limiting in what information it would provide.

It would be better to one of the numerous add-ons available for statistics.  Information can be found here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/how-do-i-get-more-statistics-from-confluence-154239308.html
