Can ALM Quality Center synch with Jira when hosted on two different operating systems?

I am looking into synchronizing ALM Quality Center with Jira using Micro Focus Connect Core.  ALM Quality Center is hosted on Windows based server and Jira version 8.5.5 is hosted on a Unix based server.  Can ALM Quality Center synch with Jira when hosted on two different operating systems using Micro Focus Connect Core?

Hello @Barbara 

I don't know the details of how Microfocus works.

However, if you are still considering other tools. There are many of them that can do similar things.

I work at Exalate Sync Tool.

Syncs, when the systems are hosted in different operating systems, are possible.

Let me know if that is also the case for Microfocus,
