Calculated Number Field Integer Value Dropping Tenth and Hundreth Decimal Values Past Certain Size

Jeremy Coughlin Nov 20, 2017

I have a calculated number field with a simple setup inside.

Take the original estimate field value (stored in seconds), divide that number by 3600 (seconds in an hour), and then display the value.

That said, for anything with large values, I'm losing everything that should be  after the decimal (the tenth and hundredth values of the number). So if the original estimate were 30600 seconds (8h 30m), it would display as 8.00. Using smaller numbers, I can add, divide, and multiply smaller numbers, and the tenth and hundredth values of the number will display without issue.

Does anyone have any idea why the tenth and hundredth values get dropped when dealing with anything over a certain size?

<!-- @@Format:
numberTool.format("0.00", value);
 -->
<!-- @@Formula:
int var1 = issue.get("timeoriginalestimate");
var2 = ( var1 / 3600 );
return var2;
-->
