Dear all, is there anyone successfully using JIRA or other Atlassian tools for distinguishing capex/opex? Tempo accounts? Any additional value to be found for finance besides "jira tickets and workflows" to manage their processes? Someone using financial reporting?
Thanks for any feedback and hints.
There is an attempt to merry Jira and financial reporting that can be applied to CAPEX -- https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1218809/quantify-ai. Feedback and thoughts are welcome!
Hi,
A way a customer of ours resolve this is to create jira custom select fields called Capex with a Yes/No value. Then this is selected for every ticket. They also add a WBSO filed for tax credits reference and R&D filed with values for each ticket
At the end since they needed to send a custom EXCEL report to their finance department containing only the JIRA Data they needed plus the location-city of the person that is logging hours they chose our app - Timescale to do that.
