Bulk Clone Professional: how to keep the custom field values

I am using Bulk Clone Professional to clone issues of the type Test between the projects in Jira. The issues have a custom field "Configuration" and this field is a list.
According to the "Bulk Clone Professional" documentation (https://www.lbconsultinggroup.org/bulkclone-professional-documentation/), I should be able to select the "Keep" box and that should preserve original values on the cloned set. This does not seem to be working. Anybody else has run into this issue?

As long as the custom diled (list) has the same contexts configured in the source & target projects it works
