Bitbucket for Confluence usage and app query

Hi,

I have a query about Bitbucket for Confluence. If we wish to have code snippets or readme files visible on Confluence do we need the app to be installed for all the users? 

i.e., say, There are 500 confluence users and only 50 colleagues work on Bitbucket.... If the app is installed only for 50 Bitbucket colleagues, and they update the confluence page with the Bitbucket link.... would it be visible for all the confluence users? 

or Does all the confluence users who like to view the readme should have the app installed and do they also need access to Bitbucket too ?
