BigPicture sorting of issues

Hi there, I am using BigPicture planning using Program Epics, Epics and Milestones. In the last days I found that the issues where sorted in a different order after opening and even refreshing did not give any change. The Program Epics were all at the bottom of the planning with some milestones in the mix. Originally the Program Epics were a logical grouping of the Epics and milestones which belonged to this topic. 

I then tested the sorting function which worked, but I cannot find any sorting function which gives me back my original planning issue sequence, which is very concerning as I need to sort quite some issues to get it back to the right sequence. I know that I need to add the column first to sort it, but I went through all possibilities and tested the ones which seemed promising, but so far nothing worked out.

Is there any possibility to get back the initial sorting which was done for the planning?
