Big Picture alpha view shows the wrong days of the week.

richard.atkins July 2, 2020

Whenever I open BIgPicture (alpha) it always labels the days one behind reality (I.e. today's label is Wednesday but should be Thursday).

It is:

  • getting the correct time
  • not a system clock issue
  • showing the weekend 'grey' columns but labelling them 'Fri' and 'Sat'
  • affected by restart, cache or re-sync

How can this be fixed as looks very unprofessional and a tad confusing when sharing the plan.

Hello Richard,

checked that only today, seems to be fixed, as seen in the screen capture below.

It was Sunday, 26th of July yesterday, so the 'today' marker sits between that day, and today, which is Jul 27. Does it look the same on your instance? Or what other behaviour would you expect?

For the wide audience, I believe the thread is about Gantt chart 2.0, which is currently in Alpha, but will be fully-blown in BigPicture 8, to be released soon.
