Is there any support for requirements versioning / baselining?
I am currently trialing, and like the product, but can't seem to find requirements versioning / baselining features.
If there are none, are there any plans to introduce such functionality?
Any suggested workarounds in the meanwhile?
Hi @James Bellamy ,
baselining is currently not available in RTM unfortunately.
We hope to add that feature in the future as it is highly requested also by our other customers. You can check our roadmap if you want to know the next steps.
I also encourage you to contact directly with our support team in case of any questions.
As a workaround, I currently can only suggest cloning the requirement to have a copy of it but I realize that this is not a perfect solution.
Best regards,
Jarek
HI @Jarosław Solecki _Deviniti_
Thanks for the response. I see its marked as "Leaving it for now" - which is a shame. We will have to look elsewhere.
Regards
James

@James Bellamy yes. Currently, it is.
That is not that we don't want to develop such a feature but it is truly hard to develop baselining in Jira Environment.
The independent database would be crucial there which also cause a lot of problems with restriction about data storage for a lot of customers. For sure we will investigate it in future but as you noticed it is currently marked a "Leaving it for now"
I think that you can look at some addons that don't use Jira Issues for storing requirements. There is a much higher probability that they could have such a feature.
Anyway, good luck and I hope that you will find a suitable plugin.

It would be great if the baseline feature is available in Cloud Confluence soon!
