Hi, I want to create an automation rule.
If someone changes the value of the original estimate and it won't be in Analysis & Design status or estimate ready then I'll get an email notification about it.
How do I do this? Is it possible?
Ok nevermind i found everything. this is how it looks and works in my project
original estimation = time tracking
Hi @l.kubon ,
Here is some information to get you started with Automation For Jira:
There are two types of automation:
Automation Basics: https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/guides/expand-jira/automation
You can do this via global rules to apply to all projects also. You'll need to be a Jira Admin/Site Admin, go to Jira Settings > System > Automation Rules (left-hand menu).
For more on using Automation For Jira see these help pages.
Once you have a rule set up and need additional help, just make a new post here.

I know how it works. I have a little problem because I cannot find an original estimate field.
Why?

I'm now trying to automatically modify the original estimate value, so it'll be the same as the remaining time, but failed to do so... have you managed to do that?

I wasn't doing something like that. I just set a validator that without giving value original estimate, you cannot go to in progress.
