Automation Trigger on Asset field value change

Hi,

I'm looking for a way to trigger an automation in Jira Datacenter as soon as the value of an Assets field changes.

This is what I'd like to do with the automation:

1. Trigger: In a Jira Task, a new asset is added to the Asset field "Products"
   (multiple assets are possible)
2. Action: All subtasks should now copy the field from the parent
   (--> this is the easy part)

Does anyone know a way how to trigger that automation?

Hey @Rebecca ,

It should be possible with a "Field Value Changed" trigger. There is a still unresolved suggestion for it to also support "Insight" fields

However there is also a suggestion in the comments to simply use the field name or a regex match for the field name.

you were absolutely right - the Regex works fine here.

I have never tried it before, to be honest - that's probably why I didn't come up with this idea by myself :/

I thought it was a complex regular expression but just type the custom field and done.
