Automation Rule

Edited

Hi Team,

We have Parent Project-A and related Child Projects-X,Y,Z so on 14 teams. Here we need Automation rule for the requirement when Epic created in Parent Project automatically Story need to be created in Child projects. Field Configurations are same for X,Y and  different for Z and some fields are mandatory when compared to Project A. Here we are attaching screen shot for Rule

Automation.jpgHere the screenshot of Rule which we tried is there. In this Rule we have given values of X,Y,Z to a field called "Assigned Group" so that when Epic created in Project A then creating Stories in X,Y,Z. Instead of this Field is there any way to select directly X,Y,Z projects  . we have selected each project like in the rule separately but need to select all projects .Or any other way to create stories is there can be suggestedEpic to Story.PNG

Have you tried using "IF Issue matches JQL"?  Repeat the "Create a new" action for each Project you need the Story created in.

There's no such thing as "child projects" in Jira.  You'll need your rules to select each project you want to think of as a child in turn - one block of automation for each.

Leave about child projects if I need to create multiple stories in different projects when Epic created in other project is there any way too select all multiple projects in Automation rule as above screen shot
