Hello everybody,
I'm encountering an issue trying to set up an automation for my board. I found some threads regarding the sum of subtasks' Story Points for a related Epic parent but it doesn't work for me.
What i'm trying to do is : I want the number of story points in my Epic to be the result of the sum of every child Task.
Here is what I have :
I do not work with subtasks so the result in my Epic' Story Points field is 0 when entering this function. Which is perfectly normal and indicates me it works.
So I of course tried to replace "subtasks" by "tasks" in the function but that where it doesn't work and it brings my Epic' Story Points to "None".
Does anybody have a clue ?
Best,
Hi @Léonard Sombrun:
Refer to this video tutorial that provides you with various rules so that you can sum up story points to the parent epic: https://youtu.be/PROcxEOMyGM
Instead of using the "Story" issue type, use a "Task" issue type in the conditions.
Regards.
