Automatic creation of a child Page when we create the product requirment

Anish January 17, 2018

Hi,
We are trying to come up with user requirement process flow in confluence. When the BA is creating product requirement page, we also need to have a baseline page (child page) to keep only the approved user stories. We are planning to link the user stories to Jira from the baselined page so that dev/QA team will receive just approved user stories,
The challenge that we are facing that each time we have to manually create a child page when the product requirements created and need to add the change history macro manually, excerpt include features in the baselined page.
Is there any option/plugins that will allow us to create a child page with custom features(change history, excerpt include, etc.,,) when we create a product requirement template from the confluence.
Appreciate your support in this regard.

Hi Anish,

I suggest you look at scriptrunner for confluence, confiforms or power scripts for confluence. You can create buttons with scripts that create can create child pages.

An example: https://library.adaptavist.com/entity/automate-the-creation-of-complex-page-structures-within-confluence
