Appy Hours on Atlassian Community

Calling all Apps! 

After seeing the creative energy of Apptoberfest, the Atlassian Community and Ecosystem teams want to create more opportunities for Marketplace Partners and customers to connect. So, starting in late June 2022, we’re launching a new experimental initiative: Monthly Appy Hours!

About Appy Hours:

Atlassian Appy Hours are a monthly Community event for Marketplace Partners and customers to connect. Each Appy Hour will feature 4 Marketplace partners going head to head for the title of best app demo that month. Partners will each be given 5 minutes to present their demo. After everyone has presented, customer attendees will be given a poll to vote for the demo or app that they liked best! At the very end, customers can ask partners questions about the apps they saw, and get more information about how to install.

Campaign Dates:

Current plan is to hold these events monthly starting June 2022

Sign up to Demo:

To participate, a partner or app vendor must demo an app that meets the following criteria:

• Paid via Atlassian or free apps that do not require a paid subscription

• App must be supported

• App listing indicates established track record of success with customers (good reviews, regular updates, etc)

Cadence: Monthly on the last Thursday of the month

Appy Hours Badge: In addition to amplifying the reach of your app, all Partner presenters will receive our limited edition Appy Hours badge!

How to sign up: Sign up via this form. Atlassian will reach out to let you know if and when you have been selected to present.

Is this open to Trello power-ups? We don't have the ability to collect payment via Atlassian at the moment but it would be a shame to exclude a lot of great paid power-ups just for that.

24 hours later and reflecting on how enjoyable yesterday's initial installation of this series was. I've already checked out a few new apps on the Marketplace. And congrats to @Nikki Zavadska _Appfire_ and Jexo on winning the first Appy Hours Award!

Good to see new apps but often they should be part of Jira/Confluence not to support a function that atlassian have messed up on the system
