πŸ‚ 🍻 Apptoberfest demo: OKR for Jira

Happy Apptoberfest, again! πŸ»

While the leaves start to fall, don't forget to set high goals, or so we say in Digital Toucan.

OKR for Jira is our newest baby, just a bit over 1 year old now. It managed to grow tremendously over the past few months. We've seen many different companies using it, big and small, with success. What can I say, we're really proud of it and of how it helps our customers achieve their goals.

So how it can help you, an Atlassian user, achieve your goals?

1. Create alignment within your organization

OKR for Jira
gives you the power to create objectives with as many nesting levels as you need to reflect your organization's priorities. You can view the OKRs on any level you need with a clear, hierarchical dashboard.

2. Connect the day-to-day work with your OKRs

Simply create your objectives, add key results, and connect them to Jira issues. Now you can automatically track progress towards your goals and give everyone a clear path to success. Your teams will love seeing how their work supports OKRs, and you’ll enjoy watching them sprint towards success.

3. Keep track of the updates and act when needed

Get updates on how your teams are progressing towards their OKRs. Use the trend line to see if everyone is on track, review status updates to identify risks early, and empower your teams to achieve their goals.

Apart from that, we provide a number of educational resources (like OKRs for Agile teams guide) and our team is always ready to help- not only with the app, but with the OKRs too.

That's our demo video:

I must say, it's a bit outdated. There were multiple things that we added or changed since it was produced, including improving the creation form UI, improving the main dashboard UI, and adding a few features like KR units, Hierarchy view, or OKR weights.  We improve it constantly, working closely with our customers. A new video is still in production, but it's coming πŸ”œ.

OKR for Jira main features:

  • Create and track an unlimited number of OKRs in Jira without any external tools
  • Automatically update the progress of objectives and key results based on the status Jira tasks
  • Use hierarchies to visually organize OKRs across the company
  • Add labels to easily identify and filter by sprint, product, department, or anything else
  • Set OKR weights to decide on priorities
  • Save custom views to save time while browsing the OKR tree
  • Choose periods for your OKRs
  • Easily create teams and set permissions to control who can view and edit OKRs
  • Create future OKRs and access your past objectives for reference
