Add Document / Download feature is not work after Base URL was changed

Kwok Shing Norman Leung May 15, 2013

Hello, we are using "Documents" plugin v2.1.0 on JIRA v5.2.9#852.

It was everything good before. But last week we have changed our server IP address and changed the JIRA Base URL, after that we find the "Add Document" function show a blank popup screen that I can't see any option for adding document.

Also which the document we have uploaded before, we could not download them, seem the download URL is still pointing to the old IP address of the server.

Is there any configuration I need to do for JIRA system IP changed? Thank you for supporting.

Hi Kwok,

Is this still an issue?

If yes. Please add an incident in the Bitbucket repository of Documents (https://bitbucket.org/StonikByte/documents-add-on/issues?status=new&status=open) or contact support@stonikbyte.com.

Danut.

Maybe you can try to clear the plugin cache for a test?

# Shutdown JIRA.

# Remove the <JIRA_HOME>/plugins/.bundled-plugins and <JIRA_HOME>/plugins/.osgi-plugins.

# Restart JIRA.

It could be just the plugin cache not flush on time.

If this is not helping, you can contact the plugin provider support@stonikbyte.com, as it could be bug in the plugin that the baseurl is somehow hard coded.
