ALL SOLVED -Xray import behave results multipart doesn't create a new Test Execution

Polinet Uch August 2, 2021

When I send request to this endpoint /rest/raven/1.0/import/execution/behave/multipart to import the Test Execution results, it doesn't generate a new test execution but instead, it keeps on updating the existing one.

I recently got this working with Nunit but most are similar. Not sure if you have reviewed:

https://docs.getxray.app/display/XRAYCLOUD/Import+Execution+Results+-+REST#ImportExecutionResultsREST-NUnitXMLresultsMultipart

I had to do some trial and error in postman before I built this into our pipeline. Are you sending both your results file & a json file that contains the test execution details you wish to create?

Hi @Polinet Uch

It could be related to some reference ID that you might have, set up as a tag in the Behave report matching an existing Test Execution.

It is best to contact Xray Support (http://xraysupport.getxray.app) to share the reports, configuration and commands you are using, so the support team can troubleshoot the cause.

Thank you.

Kind regards,
