πŸ”ŽπŸ”Žβš™οΈβš™οΈ Tutorial - workflow automation to update Jira issues with Jira issues using Lookups

Lookup Scenario Overview.png

Do you want to become a Jira workflow expert who can configure workflows to perform advanced automations?

We created a scenario-based tutorial for Jira Cloud on how to perform lookups based on the Application and set the stakeholders (Data Owner, System Owner & System Admin) using workflow post functions.

The advantage of this (Using Jira to update Jira) approach is that all the data configuration is stored within Jira Cloud (complies with Data Residency) and you can also integrate your change management process and track changes on the Application Mapping info.

In this tutorial, you will learn

  • how to create custom fields
  • how to create issue type
  • how to create Jira project
  • how to configure Issue Type Scheme
  • how to update screens
  • how to update project roles
  • how to create shared filters
  • how to add project shortcut
  • how to configure Customer Portal request type
  • how to configure workflow by adding post functions
