As the Atlassian Cloud Administrator, you will be the primary maintainer of the Atlassian Cloud product suite at Client, which includes Atlassian Access, Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Opsgenie, and Statuspage.
This position provides a great opportunity for problem-solving for the needs of client by administering, improving, and streamlining our usage of the Atlassian Cloud product suite. You will help support client by working to build out our automated Jira Service Management requests for provisioning access to various systems and applications at client using JSON webhooks as well as collaborating on large projects like our company-wide Statuspage rollout and migration to Confluence. There will be plenty of room for growth and autonomy when it comes to improving our Atlassian Cloud product suite usage for end users, such as developing best practice guides/training for Jira Software and Confluence and creating high-level reporting for Jira Service Management/Jira Software.

What you’ll do:

  • Work with Jira filters, reporting, dashboards, workflows, custom fields, and other elements
  • Partner on the implementation of large projects related to the Atlassian product suite
  • Work with add-ons such as Structure, Advanced Roadmaps, and eazyBI
  • Administrate and create Jira projects/boards, Opsgenie teams, and Confluence spaces
  • Build and deploy Jira system integration solutions with other 3rd party products and applications, often using JSON and Jira Automation
  • Manage user permissions according to the needs of spaces and teams
  • Develop training materials and deliver training to Atlassian power users
  • Design reports and templates to enable teams with better self-service for documentation and performance metrics

What you’ll need:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Atlassian Cloud product suite administration
  • Experience with Atlassian Access, Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Opsgenie, and Statuspage
  • Experience with JQL (Jira Query Language) and JSON
  • Experience with building custom solutions and integrations with Jira Service Management and Jira Software
  • Advanced experience with various Atlassian product features like Jira Automation, Advanced Roadmaps
  • Conceptual and practical understanding of Agile frameworks
  • Comfortable with working independently and being a self-starter
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Bonus Points If:

  • Experience with REST APIs in general and particularly with the Atlassian product suite REST APIs (Jira Cloud Platform, Jira Software Cloud, Jira Service Management Cloud, etc.)
  • Knowledge of single sign-on protocols/standards such as SAML and SCIM
  • Experience with Atlassian Access SSO integration with Azure AD (Active Directory)
  • Experience with Atlassian product apps/add-ons such as Structure and eazyBI
  • Conceptual and practical understanding of ITIL and CI/CD
  • ACP-120 Jira Administrator for Cloud certification
  • ACP-620 Managing Jira Cloud Projects certification
