Business Analyst (m/f)
Oskar Rüegg AG, headquartered in Jona (Switzerland), is specialized in the production of metal moldings and assemblies with a location in Bulgaria and Mexico. We work with the most modern working methods and a certified management system. The latest technologies are used in development and production. We sell our high-quality products worldwide, including in the automotive industry.
Main duties
- Specify requirements in cooperation with internal stakeholders for the internal Atlassian JIRA, the ERP system and interfaces (i.e. CAD, CAQ, CRM, operational data acquisition, etc.)
- Work in business-critical internal projects
- Design and implementation of a new internal knowledge management strategy
- Other digitalization initiatives
- Translate the business requirements into technical requirements considering processes, data and user interface
- Identify and resolve target conflicts of users and stakeholders in relation to functional requirements
- Implement the defined solution in JIRA
- Collaborate with the ERP implementation partner for ERP topics
- Present and evaluate solution alternatives under consideration of technical and commercial aspects
- Collaborate and communicate with the process owners and other team members to provide robust requirements and specifications
- Support the product owner in testing and rollout of the solutions
- Present the developed solutions
- Document the developed solutions
- Responsible for change requests and prepare the basis for decision-making
- Work with the team to continuously review and improve existing processes
- Work with the tester to classify and prioritize bugs
Your profile
- Experience in an industrial environment (automotive would be optimal) in a role that is interfacing with several business areas, i.e. project management, supply chain, IT is a plus
- Strong technical affinity
- Experience in JIRA is a plus
- Experience in Confluence is a plus
- Experience in SAP or another ERP is a plus
- Agile experience / certification is a plus
- Project management experience is a plus
- Experience in administration of any IT tool or ticketing system is a plus
- Confident with presentations / moderation
- Service oriented mindset
- Excellent verbal and written skills in German and English
- Verbal and/or written skills in Spanish or Bulgarian would be a plus
