Lead/Sr. Administrator, Atlassian Systems is a remote US position part of the Corporate Systems team as a part of Evolent’s Technology Service Operations (TSO) department. This position will report to the Director of Corporate Systems. The Sr Admin position requires client-facing experience with a focus on production support of Atlassian data center applications - Jira, Confluence, and Crowd (including all integrations and add-ons).
The Sr. Administrator is accountable for the implementation, support, administration, and maintenance of Evolent Health Atlassian application tools and integrations. Including but not limited to handling support tickets, producing reports, managing integrations, facilitating requirements and design sessions with functional users, end-user training, and documenting system configurations.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead and support all administrative functions of the Evolent Health implementations of Atlassian applications, including all integrations and add-ons (Jira, Confluence and Crowd). This can include:
- Upgrades and migrations
- Workflow analysis and development
- Automation
- Optimization of system performance
- Integration 3rd party apps
- Lead upgrades and maintenance of Atlassian applications and integrations, including staging, testing, and production environments.
- Provide innovative architecture and coding solutions and participate in the complete application life cycle from design to development, testing, deployment, and support of Jira projects.
- Help drive tool adoption by understanding the requirements and business challenges stakeholders face with work collaboration and project management:
- Facilitating discussions and documenting requirements and design
- Managing implementation in lower environments and production
- Conducting testing on all changes into production
- Facilitating User Acceptance Testing (UAT), when necessary
- Produce usage reports and perform system health checks.
- Engage with vendors' Support teams to resolve application issues on escalated problems.
- Identify, track and resolve issues and trends through usage reports.
- Actively troubleshoot and manage resolution of system issues.
- Address technical issues reported by users; may include interfacing with internal teams as required and communicating the resolution back to the end-user.
- Manage and prioritize a queue via triage processes of operational and minor enhancements driven by efficiencies or error correction.
- Ensure that the needs of all customers are met accurately and in a timely fashion, as documented in team Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Continue to improve technical expertise through research and identification of new processes and technical alternatives to resolve problems and/or implement continuous improvement.
- Adhere to and advocate all requirements of IT Privacy and Security Policies and Procedures.
- Participate and contribute in project and team meetings. Transfer knowledge, share expertise, and continuously mentor and collaborate with other members of the team.
- Ensure work meets functionality and quality expectations within given timelines.
