How Do You Incorporate Design into Project Management Tools?

i am a graphic designer working on adding some creative flair to our project management tools to make them more engaging. I think a touch of good design can really boost team morale and productivity.

One idea I've been playing with is adding custom morning greetings and motivational images to our daily updates and dashboards. It's a simple way to start the day on a positive note.

Has anyone here tried something similar? Any tips or tools that you've found useful?

By the way, if you're into this kind of stuff, I regularly post new designs and morning greetings on my blog with nice designs Check it out if you need some inspiration!

Hello Alex,

I've never attempted that, and I believe the GUI created by Atlassian is quite satisfactory, with appealing colors and a motivating design. Moreover, I'm not particularly keen on adding CI colors and logos to it, as it doesn't enhance the product.

Regarding motivational images, I would consider a screensaver at most. Users prefer to access their boards and lists with minimal clicks. However, a small, randomized rocket animation upon task completion might be a delightful touch.

Those are my views on the subject.
