userpicker (singleuser) does not autocomplete

George Kousis November 25, 2014

Hi,

I have a custom userpicker (singleuser) field on the create screen for an issue but it does not autocomplete.  I increased the size of the jira.ajax.autocomplete.userpicker.limit to a large number and restarted the service to no effect.

When I fill-in the field in the create issue screen, I get this message in the log:

2014-11-26 11:09:09,633 http-bio-8080-exec-22 WARN _ibuRequestor 609x472x1 6pg803 10.1.102.32 /rest/go2group/1.0/users/pickerbygroup [jira.plugin.rest.UserInGroupRestService] customfield_10313 was not found in the properties file

Any ideas?

This error you're getting into the logs seems to be related to a 3rd party plugin from go2group. Have you tried to disable the plugin and see if works? In addition, you might want to check if the user affected by this issue has browse users permission on the Global Permissions page.

Hi Luciano,

Yes, you are right.  Disabling the add-on worked.  Problem is that I need this add-on.  How do I go about reporting the issue to the specific add-on vendor?  I have other scenarios where I needed support for a specific addon (not this case) but could not get in touch with the vendor.  What is the procedure?

Thanks

George, for paid addons the vendor usually offers support. You can check their support information by going to Atlassian Marketplace website. Please find below the Go2Group vendor contact info. https://marketplace.atlassian.com/vendors/5193 Hope it helps! Cheers L.F
