As and when i click the upgrade to latest version an installer got downloaded into my local PC. My Jira is accessed from Linux server.Do i need to install this installer in the linux server ?

are there any seperate instructions to upgrade this for linux server?

as its test environment i just wanted to play with the things in server and tasks.

Hi @Dayananda Venkatesha,

well let's login to the test environment and download the installer.

Like this

wget -c url_to_installer

Then use the checklist

https://confluence.atlassian.com/ug/jira-software-upgrade-checklist-933696759.html

and best way is reading the upgrade notes:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftware/jira-software-7-6-x-upgrade-notes-938027185.html

Then you can update your instance.

Hope it helps.
