transition jira issue with commit messages doesn't work

Roman Dissauer March 12, 2015

Hi!

I followed this article:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/Cloud/Processing+JIRA+issues+with+commit+messages

but I can't get it work to transition the issue by commiting to the repository. The commit shows up in the issue but it is not transitioned, neither with bitbucket dvcs connect nor with stash application link. Seems the hashtags are not recognized by jira!

What do I miss here?

here the commit message:

JCP-2 #close done adding iptables script

I'll check the logs...

Edit:
I had two users with the same email address, that's why jira couldn't map the commit to a specific user. Resolved that so it works for the DVCS add on and bitbucket but stash still doesn't do anything on smart commits.

Hey Roman,

Can you attach an example of the commit message, just to see how are you writing it?

Also, is there any errors in your $JIRA_HOME/log/atlassian-jira.log file after the commit?

Cheers,
Andre
