@Jacky Jin Some fields may inherit the parent issue's value but it's not implemented for all - for a complete list, please feel free to have a look here: https://bitbucket.org/hascode/jira-quick-subtasks/wiki/Home#markdown-header-setting-metadata

If you need the behaviour for other fields, please feel free to file a new feature request in the project's issue tracker here: https://bitbucket.org/hascode/jira-quick-subtasks/issues

Thanks for your reply. but I think you misunderstand my question. we no need inherit the parent issue's value. we have define the default value for some field, if we create sub-task manually, the field will use our default value. but this default value can't be set when we create the sub-task by "Quick Subtask". Thank you!

@Jacky Jin Thanks for your clarification! Please feel free to file a new feature request in the project's issue tracker here and give some information for which field(s) the default values should be set if not overridden by the subtask-syntax: https://bitbucket.org/hascode/jira-quick-subtasks/issues
