tempo: customize timesheets for tempo teams and particular issue

Florian Rada February 24, 2014

Hello

Is there a posibility to filter the timesheets report both by team and a particular issue/project, at the same time? We would like to view worklogs on a issue/project for a selected team.

thank you

Hi Alex,

Unfortunately there is no way to do this today unless you export the data and generate a report from there. However, we have an upcoming improvement that will solve your problem directly in the reports. That is, you will be able to filter the reports by team.

Best,
Viðar

To request status updates, you can quote TMA-4373

Hi @Susanne Götz [Tempo], @Viðar Svansson [Tempo],

is there any progress regarding TMA-4373 ? We would really like to create a report for team members based on a filter (only a subset of a project).

We tried to use the advanced report on a filter like this

worklogAuthor in (user1, user2, user3) AND project = "Timesheet 2016" AND issuekey not in (TS-1, TS-2, TS-3, TS-4, TS-5, TS-6, TS-7, TS-147, TS-345)

and it shoes the correct issues, unfortunately it sums up all worklogs on those issues, even the logs from user4, user5, ....

So we would like a report based on a filter and listing only a team's worklogs, is that possible by now?

Kind regards,

Chris

Hi Susanne,

thank you for your answer, but unfortunately it doesn't help us.

Our situation: we have a jira project for Leave Management and an issue for Holiday, there are teams lead by diffrent people. The request would be: one team leader viewing timesheets on Holiday issue for his team. Your solution is to associate a team to an issue, but we need more than one team to associate to this issue. In other words, we need to filter timesheets by team and issue at the same time.

Hi Alex,

in Tempo Timesheets we released the "Team Custom Field". With this you can "assign" an issue to a Team. (See https://tempoplugin.jira.com/wiki/display/TEAMS/Teams+Custom+Fieldfor more information).

You can create a JIRA issue filter that includes all issues in a Project that are connected to a Team and view the work logged on these issues in the Advanced Timesheet.

Kind regards,

Susanne
