We have not integrated JIRA with our source code control system. Is there a way to store/track the source code change set (file name, revision, release etc) information? Right now, we add that as part of comments, but having challenges to read through the comments to find out the change set especially when there are too many comments. Looking for something like "Source Code Log" similar to "Comments" so that we can seperate out regular comments from source code information. Please suggest the best way apart from integrating with source code control system. Thanks!
What source code control system are you using?

It says “This plugin is no longer being actively developed, and there are no plans to make it compatible with JIRA 7.4 or above.” Will try to see it works. Thanks!

That is correct, if you want to stay with SVN you will need to buy Fisheye
