quite lost during my evaluation , kind of :-(
once restored from previous zip, login , found license expired, obviously, the restore must take 'expired' stuff over to this brand new jira , how come ?
license to evaluation cannot be used due to different server ID, so how can I use the backup zip on a brand new instance, please ?
Hi Quan,
You should have an option to proceed using an evaluation license or paste the new license. If you do not have the new license or a current evaluation license, go to my.atlassian.com and create a new Evaluation license and you should be able to proceed from there.
If all else fails, another option is to go into the old instance, update the license and then make a backup. Restore that backup to a new instance and you'll be set.
