You've given it the wrong email address, or your mail system isn't delivering it (misconfigured, or seeing it as spam), or your mail client is filtering it into another folder (rules or again, spam)
There's not a lot you can do about this - you need to fix your email system or look at the email you actually gave to your account.
Your best bet though is to find one of the other admins you set up. Or, as a last resort see https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Retrieving+the+JIRA+Administrator
