Why is the "i" information button in the comment section of a Jira ticket not visible anymore? When visible, it displays a box with 7 icons which lets you choose a color for the comment's backgroud and others like a copy icon and a trashcan icon.
I was using it to color a comment's background in blue or green, for example, but it does not appear anymore when creating a new comment.
I cleared the cache of my browser , closed and reopened the browser and logged in again in Jira cloud as admin but it did not solve it.
I just added a screen shot showing the missing "i" icon and the associated box.
tks

Hi @Yvan St-Cyr ,
Would you mind posting a screenshot of this behavior? I'm not sure what 'background display' and 'information button' you're referring to.
Hopefully, that will guide people here in the direction to assist you with this matter.
Cheers,
Tom

Thanks!
Yeah, it might be the case that since the team has introduced Action items (rolled out a couple of days ago) this icon has been pushed to 'Insert elements' menu/dropdown.
Panels are still available, just not as a 'quick' icon from the initial editor toolbar.
You can also start typing /info at the comment section and the macro/element should pop up.
As soon as you select it, you'll have those additional options to switch to a different panel (warning, error...).
I hope this helps.
Cheers,
Tom

Hi @Yvan St-Cyr ,
Can you please check in the field configuration whether 'Wiki style Renderer' is set for comment field. If not please edit the field configuration.
Regards
RK

Sorry for our French version of Jira but you see that 'Wiki style Renderer' is set ( i.e. Générateur de rendu de style Wiki) :
