Users are displaying a dashboard on a Smart TV, but the top portion of the screen shows an error that states:

You are viewing JIRA on a mobile deviceYou are looking at the dektop view of JIRA.

For an optimal experience please switch to the JIRA mobile view.

Switch to mobile view

This only shows up on dashboards, not when they are displaying projects or boards. There is no option to cancel this message, the only option is a button to switch to mobile view. Is there something I am overlooking that would allow us to ignore that error or keep it from displaying? We are on 7.8.3 server.

Hi @Dharma Ramos

Does your Smart TV has an option to enable "Request Desktop Site" (similar to what mobile browsers offer?

Thanks, it does. We didn't think of that. They are powered by Chrome and we were able to find a Desktop Site check box. Thanks again for your help.
