"Issue commented" System Event is not triggering if comment is added to an issue by mail handler.

Hi,

I am using JETI (Email This Issue)add-on. Using that I have created an incoming mail handler which is not triggering "Issue commented" System Event if comment is added to an issue by that mail handler. what could be the reasons?

Hey - I guess there might be the event configuration in your mail Handler configuration https://www.meta-inf.hu/display/PLUG/Mail+Handler+and+Auto-reply+emails. Also if you are testing it make sure to use an email account different from yours to avoid mails not being sent due to your notification about own changes setting.

This answer is probably 5 years too late but I found your post because I was looking to do the same sort of thing.  I continued to search and found this article
