"Cannot log work on closed issue"

Hi we get the above message only if logging work via "Worklog Calender", then clicking on the calender. The window "log work" pops up and we can enter an issue number. However, on clicking the "log" button the message "Cannot log work on closed issue" appears.

Editing closed issues is ALLOWED and active and if we log work from within a closed issue via the buttons "More-Log work", then the logging WORKS fine for closed issues.

How can I allow logging via the "Worklog field" also?

Hi Barbara!

This is fixed in the latest version. The Work Calendar allows reporting on non-editable issues if that's configured for your JIRA. Please see "Allow editing of Closed Issues": https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Allow+editing+of+Closed+Issues.
