I have set up a mail handler to automatically create tickets based on emails sent to a specific address.
I just tested it and everyone in the "To" field of the email was added as a watcher but I want to avoid this. Does anyone know what might be causing this? All of the JIRA documentation seems to be pretty clear that the only watchers that will be added are the ones CCed on the email.
In the documentation Crating Issues and Comments from Email I see that the CC Watchers option sais:
Select this check box if you want JIRA to automatically add JIRA users to the issue created, where those users' email addresses (registered with their JIRA accounts) match addresses encountered in the To:, Cc: or Bcc: fields of the email message received.
So users in the To: field will be added to the watchers list.
