"Add watchers" doesn't search for users

Hi!

All the users have permission to view JIRA project. But the "add watchers" feature doesn't search for any users by their username, even for my username. I can only add myself by clicking "Start watching this issue". But how can I add other users?

You need "Add watchers" and "Browse users" permission for that project.

@Daniel Faba Thanks for the help. It was confused a little by different roles/permissions in Confluence and Jira.
