"Add a comment" post-function displaying wrong username in the comment

I use the "Add a comment" post-function to copy a custom field and post it as a comment.


There are a few users (myself included) whose names are suffixed with a '#1' when the comment is posted:

Any idea on what's causing this? I found this bug, but I'm not sure if it's related: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-36594

I'm using delegated LDAP authentication.

I'm afraid you are right: it does seem related to JRA-36594. Did you try to apply the fix suggested by Atlassian?
