quick search no longer across JIRA & Confluence?

Before last major OnDemand upgrade (1-2 months ago?) entering a query in top-right 'quick search' box in our project dashboard would display a results page with links to both JIRA and Confluence pages. Now, results are contextual to the tool within which quick search box was used.

Is there no longer a cross jira/confluence search box?

This is an expected behavior since the last major upgrade. However, there is an ongoing improvement request for that. Kindly watch it and feel free to add your comment.

appreciate the response, but am perplexed Atlassian decided to kill this feature in the current version
