HI

Is it possible to trigger an email notification to assignee of the issue when the linked issue is updated?

What are my out of the box options.? Any plugins?

I am on JIRA 6.1

Hey there,

write a customfield with the assignee of the parent issue. And set this in the notification scheme.
Make this field read only and write it by creation with a automation postfunction.

This should work
