not able to assign an issue

we have recently implemented service desk and linked it to the Tech Support project. we are not able to assign any tech support issues to non agents, even if they have been made out side of the services desk. I understand that you are not able to assign services desk issues to non-agents, but we would like to be able to create the linked issue under the same project and type for our tracking. is there a permission that we are missing that needs to be set?

Hi Amanda,

  1. we have recently implemented service desk and linked it to the Tech Support project. we are not able to assign any tech support issues to non agents, even if they have been made out side of the services desk.
    1. you can make them particpants if you pop the non agents within the Service Desk Customer Project Role
  2. create the linked issue under the same project and type for our tracking. is there a permission that we are missing that needs to be set?
    1. Check the permissiom scheme there is option to allow users to create links to other issues in other projects as long at they have browse permission to the other project(s)
