new column to quick search

Simon Gysin September 30, 2012

Our developers want to see from each issue which component is affected.

Is it possible to add a column with the components to the results of the quick search (result.jpg)?

Hi Simon,

of course, this is possible! There are three ways to do this:

  1. You could go to "Extras" (in the cog-wheel menu) in the search results an adjust it for your current session.
  2. You could go to your profile and edit the columns just for you, but all the time.
  3. As administrator you thirdly go to Administration -> System -> User Interface -> Navigator columns and adjust the default for everyone.

Hope that helps? Cheers, David

Yes, you go into the issue navigator and add columns to it. Components is on the list.
